Running Through Sprinklers

Running Through Sprinklers is a coming-of-age story about a 12-year-old-half-Korean girl living in a quiet cul-de-sac in Surrey, a suburb southeast of Vancouver. When her best friend skips a grade and goes to high school and the boy next door goes missing, she must find a way not only accept the changes happening outside of her but the ones happening within. Fast-paced and bursting with energy, Running Through Sprinklers is about how diversity is thriving in the homogenous architecture of the North American suburbs and how exciting and scary and sad it is when the first chapter of your life ends, like childhood. Running Through Sprinklers is forthcoming in the Spring of 2018 with Simon & Schuster NYC (imprint: Atheneum).

I am an independent filmmaker and have made a short film called “Ä Candle Light Event” based on the German Bakery Blast, Pune(India). The film has participated in international film festivals and has won two local competitions as well. I am looking forward for more opportunities and so keen on looking for all aspects of film making and participating in more film festivals. I am attaching the link of the video of the making of my short film i.e. and not the actual film as it is not on the internet because of terms and conditions of some film festivals who disqualify the film if it is over the internet. Another link to the TV commercial i made is . I will be happy if you can help me with few dates of film fests where i can participate. Hoping for a positive response.

Thanks and Regards,
Zanane Rajsingh
